什云。喜有二種。一有現世功德自然忻預。二後得涅槃心常安悅○肇云。夫擾亂出於多求。憂苦生于不足。出家寡欲。擾亂斯無。道法內充故。懷喜有餘。

Kumārajīva says: "Joy has two kinds: first, having merits in the present life, one is naturally rejoiced; second, attaining nirvāṇa later, one's mind is constantly tranquil and pleased." ○ Sengzhao says: "Disturbance arises from much seeking; sorrow and suffering are born of deficiency. Leaving the household lessens desires, and disturbance is thereby eliminated. Because the principles of the Path are abundant within, one cherishes an abundance of joy."
