淨名經云。汝得阿耨菩提心。即是出家○什云。雖為白衣能發無上心者。以心超三界。形雖有繫乃真出家。具足戒行矣（無上心者。兼載萬有。不遺一物也）。

The Vimalakīrtinirdeśa Sūtra states: "Your attaining the anuttarasamyaksaṃbodhi mind is itself leaving the household." ○ Kumārajīva says: "Although one is a layperson, if one can generate the unsurpassed mind, because one's mind transcends the three realms, even though one's bodily form is bound, this is genuine leaving the household, possessing complete preceptive conduct." (The unsurpassed mind means carrying the ten thousand beings without leaving behind a single thing.)
