僧祇云。一損眼。二壞色。三身羸。四衣垢。五壞臥具。六生犯戒緣。七增俗話。
The Mahāsāṃghika says: 'First, it harms the eyes; second, it ruins the complexion; third, it emaciates the body; fourth, it soils the robes; fifth, it ruins the bedding; sixth, it gives rise to conditions for violating the precepts; seventh, it increases worldly talk.'
