《僧祇》：然火七事無利：一壞眼，二壞色，三身羸，四衣垢壞，五壞臥具，六生犯戒緣，七增世俗話。
The Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya says: Burning a fire has seven matters of no benefit: first, it damages the eyes; second, it impairs the complexion; third, the body becomes emaciated; fourth, clothing becomes dirty and ruined; fifth, it ruins bedding; sixth, it gives rise to conditions for breaking precepts; and seventh, it increases worldly talk.
