捨諠（吁袁反聲類諠譁也鄭玄注禮記囂也或從雚作讙形聲字也雚音灌有從口作喧俗用非正）。

Abandoning clamour (捨諠: the second character is pronounced *xu* + *yuan* in fanqie. The *Shenglei* states: “*Xuān* means noisy clamour.” Zheng Xuan's commentary on the *Book of Rites* states: “Noisy.” It is also written with *guān* as 讙; it is a phono-semantic character. *Guān* (雚) is pronounced *guan*. Some write it with the mouth radical as 喧, which is vulgar usage and not standard).
