璧玉（卑亦反爾雅云內倍好謂之璧郭璞云肉邊也好也倍大也案璧形圓有孔有穀璧蒲璧之別說文瑞玉也從玉辟聲也）。

璧玉 (The fanqie bei + yi [bì]. The Erya says: 'When the fleshy rim is twice the width of the central hole, it is called a bì.' Guo Pu says: 'The ròu is the border; the hǎo is the hole; bèi means double.' A bì is round in shape with a central perforation; there are varieties such as the grain bì and the rush bì. The Shuowen says: 'An auspicious jade.' It is derived from yù [玉, jade] with bì [辟] phonetic).
