弼我（貧密反孔注尚書弼輔也爾雅重也尚書大傳曰天子有四隣左輔右弼前疑後承廣雅弼備也大戴禮云絜廉而切直匡過而諫邪謂之弼說文弼字從二弓從[丙/一][丙/一]音添念反弜音巨丈反古文或從攴作㢸又作[弓*((丙*丙)/一)]也）。

弼我 (Pronounced 貧 plus 密 in fanqie. Kong's commentary on the Shangshu says: '弼 means to assist.' The Erya says: 'To reinforce.' The Shangshu dazhuan says: 'The Son of Heaven has four neighbors: the left supporter, the right assister, the forward adviser, and the backward upholder.' The Guangya says: '弼 means to equip.' The Da Dai Liji says: 'One who is pure, incorrupt, earnest, upright, correcting errors, and remonstrating against wickedness is called an assister (弼).' The Shuowen says: 'The character 弼 is composed of two 弓 with [丙/一]; [丙/一] is pronounced 添 plus 念 in fanqie; 弜 is pronounced 巨 plus 丈 in fanqie.' In ancient script it is also written with 攴 as 㢸, and also as [弓*((丙*丙)/一)].)
