虛空可數量（上虛字從虍音呼從丘丘字或作[共-八]經文有作[雨/(並-(前-刖))]非也次數字上聲下量字音力長反說文云平多少稱輕重曰量正從曰從童作量今隷書省也）。

Space can be calculated (虛空可數量: the upper character 虛 takes 虍 and is pronounced hu, and takes 丘; 丘 is sometimes written [共-八]; writing it as [雨/(並-(前-刖))] in sūtra texts is incorrect; the next character 數 is in the rising tone; the lower character 量 has the fanqie li + zhang; the Shuowen jiezi says: 'To balance quantity and weigh heaviness is called 量; standardly it is written with 曰 and 童 as 量, which is abbreviated in clerical script today').
