暠然（又作杲同古倒反埤蒼白皃也亦明也灼然明白者也經文作咼音古螢反非也）。

Brightly white (暠然: also written 杲; both pronounced *g[ǔ]-d[ǎo]*. The *Picang* says: "The appearance of whiteness; also means bright." It refers to being brilliantly luminous. In the sūtra text it is written 咼, pronounced *g[ǔ]-y[íng]*, which is incorrect).
