Alas, the Sage! 噫聖 (the first character is 於其 fanqie; Kong's commentary on the Analects states: "Yi is the sound of sighing with regret"; the Wenzi dian shuo says: "The sound of grief and pain"; it is composed of 口 with 意 phonetic; the Cangjie pian writes it with 言 as 譩, with the same explanation).
