Compasses and carpenter's square 規矩 (the first character is 癸隳 fanqie; Gu Yewang says: "Gui means round"; the Shuowen says it is composed of 夫 with 見; the second character is 俱禹 fanqie; the Erya says: "Ju means standard"; Ma Rong's commentary on the Analects says: "Model"; the Wenzi dian shuo states: "Compasses and carpenter's square"; it is composed of 矢 with 巨 phonetic; also written as 榘).
