搔動 (pronounced with the fanqie 掃遭 [sao + zao]. The Kaosheng states: 'To disturb and agitate.' Sometimes written with radical 馬 as 騷, which is also semantically acceptable. The Shuowen states: 'To scratch; formed from radical 手 with 蚤 as the phonetic.' 蚤 is pronounced 早 [zao]; written with 必 above is 蚤, an ancient script for 爪. 括 is pronounced with the fanqie 關滑 [guan + hua]).
