唌流 (pronounced with the fanqie 祥延 [xiang + yan]. Also written as 𣵿; both are vulgar forms. In the Shuowen the standard character is 㳄. People at the time did not examine it carefully and confused it with the character 次, leading scholars to invent different forms arbitrarily: Shu Zhi wrote 唌, Jia Yi wrote 㵪, and Shi Zhou's Great Seal script wrote 𣶙 with two 水 radicals, which is extremely archaic and no longer in contemporary use. The Shuowen original entry is 㳄, formed from radical 水 and radical 欠. The Jixun states: '唌 refers to saliva in the mouth.' We now follow the Shuowen and discard the others).
