兔麈（上土固反說文獸名也象踞兔頭與㲋頭同故從㲋省後[必-心]象其尾也下音主說文鹿屬也大而一角從鹿主聲入音篇篾反）。

兔麈 (the upper character is pronounced with the fanqie 土固 [tu + gu]. The Shuowen states: 'The name of a beast; it resembles a crouching hare, its head like that of a 㲋, hence formed from an abbreviated 㲋, and the trailing [必-心] depicts its tail.' The lower character is pronounced 主 [zhu]. The Shuowen states: 'A species of deer, large with a single horn; formed from radical 鹿 with 主 as the phonetic.' The pronunciation in the Yupian is with the fanqie 篾 [mie]).
