龍鼉 (pronounced with the fanqie 唐何 [tang + he]. The Shuowen states: 'An aquatic reptile, about a zhang in length, resembling a lizard but larger; formed from radical 黽 with 單.' 單 is pronounced 郍 [nuo]; formed from 吅 and 里. Those written with 単 are erroneous. In the Zhiguan the lower part is written with 龜, which is incorrect).
