貯聚（上張呂反杜預注左傳云貯蓄勅六反藏之也說文積財也從具宁直慮反聲也下情裕反又音慈庾反上聲亦通韻英云集會也考聲云攢集也何休注公羊傳云聚𣫍也說文聚會也從乑音吟眾立也取省聲也古文作㝡也）。

貯聚 (the upper character is 張 + 呂 fanqie. Du Yu's commentary on the Zuozhuan says: '貯 means to store up (蓄, 勅 + 六 fanqie) and hide away.' The Shuowen says: 'To hoard wealth.' It takes 具 as semantic and 宁 (直 + 慮 fanqie) as phonetic. The lower character is 情 + 裕 fanqie, or 慈 + 庾 fanqie; the falling-rising tone is also acceptable. The Yunying says: 'To assemble and congregate.' The Kaosheng says: 'To gather and amass.' He Xiu's commentary on the Gongyang zhuan says: '聚 means to assemble.' The Shuowen says: 'To gather.' It takes 乑 (pronounced 吟, meaning many standing) as semantic and 取 abbreviated as phonetic. Ancient script writes it as 㝡).
