紛擾（芳文反廣雅紛亂也說文從糸分聲也下而沼反考聲因此煩彼曰擾縱欲之皃也說文擾煩也從扌音手憂奴刀反聲也）。

紛擾 (芳 + 文 fanqie. The Guangya says: '紛 means chaotic.' The Shuowen says it takes 糸 as semantic and 分 as phonetic. The lower character is 而 + 沼 fanqie. The Kaosheng says: 'Disturbing another because of this is called 擾; it is the appearance of giving free rein to desire.' The Shuowen says: '擾 means troublesome.' It takes 扌 (pronounced 手) as semantic and 憂 (奴 + 刀 fanqie) as phonetic).
