號咷（胡高反杜注左傳號哭也爾雅呼也說文痛聲也下唐勞反案號咷者大哭也易曰先號咷而後笑是也）。

號咷 (胡 + 高 fanqie. Du's commentary on the Zuozhuan says: '號 means to wail.' The Erya says: 'To cry out.' The Shuowen says: 'A sound of pain.' The lower character is 唐 + 勞 fanqie. We note that 號咷 means to wail loudly. The Yijing says: 'First wailing aloud and later laughing,' which refers to this).
