投竄（徒侯反玄箋詩云投擿也考聲投赴也說文作𣪌遙擊也下倉亂反顧野王竄逃也賈注國語竄隱也杜注左傳匿也古今正字竄藏也從鼠在穴中也）。

投竄 (徒 + 侯 fanqie. Xuan's commentary on the Shijing says: '投 means to cast.' The Kaosheng says: '投 means to rush into.' The Shuowen writes it as 𣪌, meaning to strike from afar. The lower character is 倉 + 亂 fanqie. Gu Yewang says: '竄 means to flee.' Jia's commentary on the Guoyu says: '竄 means to conceal.' Du's commentary on the Zuozhuan says: 'To hide.' The Gujin zhengzi says: '竄 means to hide away.' It takes 鼠 [rat] inside 穴 [a hole]).
