鉆椎(儉嚴反字書云䥫夾也說文䥫鋷也女輒反蒼頡篇云持䥫夾也經文從甘作鉗繞頸䥫枷也非經義下直追反前已釋也從木隹聲)。

Pincers and hammer (zianchui: [first syllable] jian-yan fan. The Zishu says: 'Iron tongs.' The Shuowen says: 'Iron tweezers (pronounced nü-zhe fan).' The Cangjie pian says: 'Iron-holding tongs.' In the sūtra text, taking the radical 甘 and written as 鉗 refers to an iron pillory encircling the neck, which is not the sūtra's meaning. The second [syllable] zhi-zhui fan; it has already been explained above. It takes the radical 木 with 隹 as phonetic.)
