懶惰（郎旦反考聲不勤也說文懈怠也從心賴聲也或從女作嬾亦同下徒臥反廣雅惰嬾也韻英懈惰也說文不敬也從心隋聲也經作墮俗字也）。

Slothful and lazy (landuo: [first syllable] lang-dan fan. The Kaosheng says: 'Not diligent.' The Shuowen says: 'Indolent. It takes the radical 心 with 賴 as phonetic.' Or it takes the radical 女 written as 嬾, which is the same. The second [syllable] tu-wo fan. The Guangya says: 'Duo means lazy.' The Yunying says: 'Slothful.' The Shuowen says: 'Disrespectful. It takes the radical 心 with 隋 as phonetic.' In the sūtra it is written as 墮, which is a vulgar character.)
