叡聖（營芮反廣雅叡聰也又智也集訓云叡聖也通於微也說文叡深明也從𣦻音殘從目從谷省聲也）。

叡聖 (y-[ing]-r-[ui] fan. The Guangya says: '叡 means perceptive; also wise.' The Jixun says: '叡 means sagacious; penetrating to the subtle.' The Shuowen jiezi says: '叡 means profoundly discerning; it derives from 𣦻, pronounced cán, from 目 [eye], with 谷 [gǔ] abbreviated phonetic').
