打治（打吳音為頂今不取集訓音德冷反廣雅打擊也埤蒼掊也白降反古今正字云從手從丁聲也下長离反韻詮云治理也桂苑珠叢云修故也）。

打治 For 打, the Wu sound is dǐng, which is not adopted here; the Jixun gives the pronunciation d- + -ək / -leŋX [děng]. The Guangya says: "打 means to strike." The Picang says: "To beat (b- + -æ / -aŋH [bàng])." The Gujin zhengzi says: "Derived from 'hand' with dīng as phonetic." The second character is pronounced ɖ- + -iæ [chí]. The Yunquan says: "To govern, to manage." The Guiyuan zhucong says: "To repair the old."
