村墟（寸尊反集訓云聚落也古今正字從木寸聲或作邨下去居反廣雅墟居也風俗通墟虛也周禮墟盧也從土虛聲也）。

村墟 (The first character has the fanqie cun + zun. The Jixun says: "A hamlet; a settlement." The Gujin zhengzi has it with the wood radical and the cun phonetic, or written as 邨. The second character has the fanqie qu + ju. The Guangya says: "Xu means a dwelling." The Fengsu tong says: "Xu means empty [ruins]." The Rites of Zhou says: "Xu means a cottage." It takes the earth radical and the xu phonetic).
