豁然（歡栝反廣雅豁空也字書豁大也玉篇大度量也說文作豁形聲字也考聲作豁豁開也或作奯說文空大也從大從歲形聲字也）。

豁然 (The first character has the fanqie huan + gua. The Guangya says: "Huo means empty." Lexicons state: "Huo means vast." The Yupian says: "Of great measure." The Shuowen writes it as 豁, a phono-semantic character. The Kaosheng writes it as 豁: "Huo means to open." It is also written as 奯; the Shuowen states: "Empty and vast. Derived from 大 [great] and 歲, a phono-semantic character").
