澄粹（雖酢反廣雅粹純也周易純粹精也字書精微也說文從米卒聲也）。

Pure and unadulterated (澄粹: [the character 粹 (pure)] is 雖 [sui] + 酢 [zuo] [suì]. The Guangya says: '粹 means pure.' The Zhouyi says: 'Purity (純粹) is the quintessence.' Character glossaries say: 'Refined and subtle.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Composed of the rice radical (米) with 卒 as phonetic').
