䬸食（倉單反說文吞也從食𣦼聲也𣦼音殘或從水作湌經文從冫音氷非也下食字上非從人下非從良說文從亼精入反從皂彼立反經從人良俗字也）。

Swallowing food (canshi 䬸食: [can is pronounced with the] fanqie cang-dan 倉單. The Shuowen says: “To swallow. Composed of 'eat' (shi 食) with can 𣦼 as phonetic.” Can 𣦼 is pronounced can 殘. It is also written with the 'water' classifier as 湌. In the sūtra text it is written with 'ice' (bing 冫, pronounced bing 氷), which is incorrect. As for the lower character shi 食, the upper part is not composed of 'person' (ren 人) and the lower part is not composed of 'good' (liang 良). The Shuowen says: “Composed of 'gather' (ji 亼, pronounced with the fanqie jing-ru 精入) and gui 皂 (pronounced with the fanqie bi-li 彼立).” In the sūtra it is written with 'person' and 'good', which is a vulgar character).
