梗槩（上格杏反王注楚辭云梗強也尒雅直也廣雅略也從木下該礙反考聲槩節也周禮鄭注云量也薛琮曰梗槩不纖密也從木既聲也）。

梗槩 (The upper character is pronounced geng3 [ge-xing fan]. Wang [Yi]'s commentary on the Chuci says: '梗 means strong.' The Erya says: 'Straight.' The Guangya says: 'Brief, general.' Formed with 'wood' (木). The lower character is pronounced gai4 [gai-ai fan]. The Kaosheng says: '槩 means standard/moderation.' Zheng [Xuan]'s commentary on the Rites of Zhou says: 'To measure.' Xue Zong says: '梗槩 means broad, not finely detailed.' Formed from 'wood' (木) with 既 as phonetic).
