咀嚼（情與反廣雅咀𱕘也蒼頡篇噍也音焦說文含味也從口且聲類從齒作齟下墻藥反廣雅嚼茹也字書咀也案嚼亦嚙也從口爵聲也）。

咀嚼 (Pronounced ju3 [qing-yu fan]. The Guangya says: '咀 means to chew.' The Cang Jie pian says: '噍,' pronounced jiao1. The Shuowen jiezi says: 'To savour in the mouth.' Formed from 'mouth' (口) with 且 as phonetic. The Shenglei writes 齟 with 'teeth' (齒). The lower character is pronounced jue2 [qiang-yao fan]. The Guangya says: '嚼 means to chew/ingest.' A character book says: '咀.' Indeed, 嚼 also means to bite. Formed from 'mouth' (口) with 爵 as phonetic).
