蠭蝶（上芳雍反考聲蟲名也或在樹為房或居土為窠而有多種蠭惣名說文飛蟲螫人者從䖵逢聲也或作𧒒經作蜂俗字下甜頰反司馬彪注莊子云蛺蝶也經作[(乏-之+虫)*(云/木)]俗字）。

蠭蝶 (The upper character is pronounced feng1 [fang-yong fan]. The Kaosheng says: 'An insect name. Some make nests in trees, while others make burrows in the earth; there are many kinds, and "蠭" is the collective term.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Flying insect that stings people; formed from 䖵 with 逢 as phonetic.' It is also written as 𧒒; the sūtra writes 蜂, a vulgar character. The lower character is pronounced die2 [tian-jia fan]. Sima Biao's commentary on the Zhuangzi says: 'A butterfly (蛺蝶).' The sūtra text writes [(乏-之+虫)*(云/木)], a vulgar character).
