Senile (昬耄; *máo* + *bào* fanqie. The *Shuowen jiezi* states: "*Mào* means old age." Du's commentary on the *Zuo zhuan* says: "Confused." The *Quli* says: "Eighty or ninety years of age is called *mào*." It is a mutually defining character).
