擯㡿（上賓印反司馬彪注莊子云擯棄也史記云相與排擯也說文從人作儐下音尺劉兆注公羊傳云㡿指言也廣雅推也王逸注楚辭云斥逐也許叔重注淮南子云㡿拓也說文却屋也從广屰聲也广音儼屰音逆今經文作宇俗用訛謬也因草書變體也）。

Cast out and rejected (the first character has the fanqie 賓印 [bīn + yìn]; Sima Biao's commentary on Zhuangzi says: '擯 means to discard'; the Shiji says: 'Mutually repelling and rejecting'; the Shuowen writes it as 儐 with the semantic classifier 人 'person'; the second character has the sound 尺; Liu Zhao's commentary on the Gongyang zhuan says: '㡿 means to point out and speak'; the Guangya says: 'To push'; Wang Yi's commentary on the Chuci says: '斥 means to banish'; Xu Shuzhong's commentary on the Huainanzi says: '㡿 means to expand'; the Shuowen says: 'A set-back chamber; it takes the semantic classifier 广 and the phonetic 屰'; 广 has the sound 儼, and 屰 has the sound 逆; in the present sūtra text it is written as 宇, which is a vulgar and erroneous usage, a corruption resulting from cursive script).
