游泳（上音由考聲隨水流貌從水從遊省聲下榮命反毛詩傳云潛行爾雅泳游也郭璞云潛行水底也從水永聲也）。

Swimming (游泳: the first character is pronounced 由. The Kaosheng says: "The appearance of flowing with the water." It is composed of 水 with 遊 abbreviated for phonetic value. The second character has the fanqie 榮命. The commentary on the Mao Shi says: "Moving submerged." The Erya says: "泳 means to swim (游)." Guo Pu says: "Moving submerged under the water." It takes 水 as radical with 永 for phonetic value).
