撾打（上竹瓜反說文撾捶也打也從木過下得冷反說文擊也掊也從手丁聲）。

Beating and striking (撾打: the first character has the fanqie zh- + gua [=zhuā]; the Shuowen says: 'Zhuā (撾) means to cane or to strike'; it is formed with 'wood' [木] and guo [過] [as phonetic]. The second character has the fanqie d- + [l]eng [=dǎ]; the Shuowen says: 'To hit; to strike'; it is formed with 'hand' [手] and ding [丁] as phonetic).
