嫉妒（上音疾下都固反王逸注楚辭云害賢曰嫉害色曰妒說文婦妒夫也並從女疾戶聲也經從后作姤非也）。

Jealousy and envy (嫉妒: the first character is pronounced jí. The second character has the fanqie d- + gu [=dù]; Wang Yi's commentary to the Chuci says: 'Harming the worthy is called jí (嫉); being envious of beauty is called dù (妒)'; the Shuowen says: 'A wife being jealous of her husband'; both are formed with 'woman' [女] and jí [疾] and hu [戶] as phonetic respectively; in the sūtra it is written with 'empress' [后] as gòu [姤], which is incorrect).
