班宣（上八蠻反杜注左傳云班布也又曰次也賈注國語云班位也方言列也說文分瑞玉從刀分班與頒同也）。

班宣 (the first character has the fanqie: 八 + 蠻; Du's commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: "班 means to spread out; also to order." Jia's commentary on the Guoyu says: "班 means position." The Fangyan says: "To arrange in rows." The Shuowen says: "To divide auspicious jade, classified under knife (刀) and jade (玨)." 班 is the same as 頒).
