痛蛘（下羊掌反廣雅皮膚蛘也考聲痛之微也禮記作癢云癢不敢搔毛詩傳皮膚病也說文搔蛘也從䖝羊聲也）。

痛蛘 (the second character has the fanqie: 羊 + 掌; the Guangya says: "It is skin itching." The Kaosheng says: "A slight pain." In the Book of Rites it is written as 癢, saying: "When itching, one does not dare to scratch." The commentary on the Mao Odes says: "A skin ailment." The Shuowen says: "To scratch an itch. It is classified under insect (虫) and takes 羊 as phonetic.")
