擲杖處（上呈戟反廣雅擿振也說文作擿投也從手鄭聲）。

The place where the staff was cast down (擲杖處; the first character is [pronounced with the] fanqie chéng + [j]í. The Guangya says: “Zhì means to brandish/shake.” The Shuowen writes it as 擿, meaning to throw; “it takes shǒu ‘hand’ as semantic classifier and zhèng as phonetic”).
