覺寤（上音角下五故反博雅云覺知也毛詩傳云寤亦覺也蒼頡篇寐覺而有言曰寤說文從㝱省吾聲經從穴作寤非也）。

To awaken (覺寤; the first character has the pronunciation jiào. The second character is [pronounced with the] fanqie wǔ + [g]ù. The Boya says: “Jué means to know.” The commentary to the Mao Poetry says: “Wù also means to awaken.” The Cangjiepian says: “To awaken from sleep and speak is called wù.” The Shuowen says: “It takes an abbreviated form of mèng as semantic classifier and wú as phonetic.” The scripture's writing with the cave classifier xué as 寤 is erroneous).
