跳故（逖遙反鄭注禮記跳足步不相及也蒼頡篇踊步也說文從足兆聲也）。
To leap (跳故; [the first character is pronounced with the] fanqie tì + [y]áo. Zheng's commentary to the Liji says: “Tiào means paces where the feet do not meet each other.” The Cangjiepian says: “To leap and step.” The Shuowen says: “It takes zú ‘foot’ as semantic classifier and zhào as phonetic”).
