依怙 (The fanqie is h- + g- [hù]. The Erya states: '怙 means relying upon [恃].' The Han Commentary on the Classic of Poetry states: 'Without a father, upon whom does one rely [怙]?' 怙 means relying upon and depending on. It is a phono-semantic character in the rising tone).
