躁擾（上遭奧反韻英云躁動也賈注國語云躁亦擾也鄭注論語云不安靜也說文為趮字從走喿聲也經從足形聲字下而沼反前音義寶積經第一百一十二卷中已釋訖）。

躁擾 (The upper character has the fanqie z- + ào [zào]. The Yunying states: '躁 means moving.' Jia's commentary on the Guoyu states: '躁 also means perturbing.' Zheng's commentary on the Analects states: 'Not quiet and peaceful.' The Shuowen jiezi gives the character as 趮, taking radical 走 with 喿 as phonetic. In the sūtra text it takes radical 足, forming a phono-semantic character. The lower character has the fanqie r- + zh- [rǎo]; it was already explained earlier in the Sounds and Meanings for the Ratnakūṭa-sūtra, fascicle 112).
