稟性（上彼錦反杜注左傳云稟受也廣雅稟與也說文賜穀也從禾㐭聲㐭音力錦反）。

Inborn nature (稟性: the first character has the fanqie b[ǐ] + [j]ǐn; Du's commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: "Bing (稟) means to receive." The Guangya says: "Bing means to give." The Shuowen says: "To bestow grain"; it has the cereal radical and the phonetic lin (㐭); 㐭 has the fanqie l[ì] + [j]ǐn).
