頑騃（上五關反左傳曰心不則德義之經曰頑古文作𡙷廣雅頑鈍也形聲字下崖解反蒼頡篇云愚騃無知也方言云㽹癡騃也或作顀訓用同上說文馬行癡仡仡也駕馬也從馬矣聲）。

頑騃 (First character, fanqie: 五 + 關. The Zuo zhuan says: 'When the mind does not model itself on the canon of virtue and righteousness, it is called 頑 [stubborn/obtuse].' In ancient script, it is written as 𡙷. The Guangya states: dull and obtuse; a phono-semantic character. Second character, fanqie: 崖 + 解. The Cang Jie pian states: stupid, ignorant, and unknowing. The Fangyan states: 㽹 means foolish and ignorant. Sometimes written as 顀, with the same gloss as above. The Shuowen jiezi states: a horse moving in a foolish and halting manner; also means to harness a horse; composed with the 'horse' radical and 矣 phonetic.)
