𠊳慧（上毘綿反鄭注論語辦也聲類習也說文安也人有不便更之從人更經作便俗字也下熒桂反韻英云慧悟也方言云明也考聲察也國語智也從心彗聲也彗音隨銳反也）。

𠊳慧 (The upper character is pronounced 毘 + 綿 [*biàn*]. Zheng [Xuan]'s commentary on the *Analects* says: 'Capable.' The *Shenglei* says: 'Practised.' The *Shuowen* says: 'Peaceful; when a person is uncomfortable, one alters (更) it.' It takes the semantic classifier 人 and 更. In the sūtra text it is written as 便, which is a vulgar form. The lower character is pronounced 熒 + 桂 [*huì*]. The *Yunying* says: 'Wisdom and awakening.' The *Fangyan* says: 'Clear-sighted.' The *Kaosheng* says: 'Discerning.' The *Guoyu* says: 'Wise.' It takes the semantic classifier 心 and 彗 as phonetic component; 彗 is pronounced 隨 + 銳 [*suì*]).
