屠膾（上音徒考聲云殘殺也說文云屠刳也分割牲肉曰屠從都省聲也下古外廣雅膾割也說文細切肉也從肉會聲或作鱠用同刳音枯）。

屠膾 (The upper character is pronounced 徒 [*tú*]. The *Kaosheng* says: 'To slaughter and butcher.' The *Shuowen* says: 'To eviscerate; dividing the meat of sacrificial victims is called 屠.' It takes 都 abbreviated as phonetic component. The lower character is pronounced 古 + 外 [*kuài*]. The *Guangya* says: '膾 means to slice.' The *Shuowen* says: 'Finely minced meat.' It takes the semantic classifier 肉 and 會 as phonetic component; sometimes written 鱠, used identically. 刳 is pronounced 枯 [*kū*]).
