循環（隨倫反三蒼云循遍也爾雅從也善也說文行也從彳盾聲也盾音順下音還鄭注周禮云環旋也何注公羊云統也說文從玉睘聲也）。

循環 (The upper character is pronounced 隨 + 倫 fanqie. The San Cang says: '循 means everywhere.' The Erya says: 'To follow; good.' The Shuowen says: 'To walk; it derives from 彳 with 盾 as phonetic.' 盾 is pronounced 順. The lower character is pronounced 還. Zheng's commentary on the Zhouli says: '環 means to turn round.' He's commentary on the Gongyang says: 'To oversee.' The Shuowen says: 'It derives from 玉 with 睘 as phonetic').
