堅鞕（額幸反廣雅云鞕堅也字書云牢也從革更聲考聲作硬同經本從卬作䩕古正也）。

堅鞕 (Has the fanqie *e* + *xing* [yìng]. The *Guangya* states: "*Yìng* means hard." Character dictionaries state: "Firm. Formed with *ge* (leather) and has *geng* phonetic." The *Kaosheng* writes it as 硬, which is identical. Sūtra editions write it with 卬 as 䩕, which is ancient and orthodox).
