[火*(日/出/大/((犀-尸)-牛+十))]流（上袍報反考聲[涅-土+(出/大/((犀-尸)-牛+十))]猝雨也文字典說云江河水漲急也從水[日/出/八/((犀-尸)-牛+十)]聲[日/出/八/((犀-尸)-牛+十)]字說文從日從出[(犀-尸)-牛+十]奴也經本作[涅-土+(出/大/((犀-尸)-牛+十))]俗字也奴音俱隴反反音討刀反）。

[火*(日/出/大/((犀-尸)-牛+十))]流 (The first character has the fanqie *pao* + *bao* [bào]. The *Kaosheng* states: "[涅-土+(出/大/((犀-尸)-牛+十))] is sudden rain." The *Wenzi dian shuo* states: "The surging and swift water of rivers. Formed with *shui* (water) and has [日/出/八/((犀-尸)-牛+十)] phonetic." For the character [日/出/八/((犀-尸)-牛+十)], the *Shuowen* states: "Formed with *ri* (sun), formed with *chu* (emerge), and [(犀-尸)-牛+十] means a slave." Sūtra editions write it as [涅-土+(出/大/((犀-尸)-牛+十))], which is a vulgar character. 奴 has the fanqie *ju* + *long*. 反 has the fanqie *tao* + *dao*).
