鬪諍（上斗豆反蒼頡篇云鬪諍也稱兵相政戰也論語云血氣方剛戒之在鬪也說文云鬪遇也從鬥從斵聲從門從𭔰作鬪者非也鬪音上同斵音卓）。

鬪諍 ("fighting and disputing"; [the former] fanqie: 斗 + 豆. The Cangjie pian says: "Dou (鬪) means contending, taking up arms to attack each other in battle." The Lunyu says: "When blood and vital breath are in their prime, one must guard against strife." The Shuowen says: "Dou means to encounter; it takes 鬥 as semantic and 斵 as phonetic." Writing it with 門 and 𭔰 as 鬪 is incorrect. 鬪 has the same pronunciation as above; 斵 is pronounced 卓).
